Amitabh Bachchan IGNORES Aishwarya Rai, Praises Abhishek Bachchan as Raavan Completes 14 Years

Mani Ratnam directorial Raavan starring Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai has completed 14 years. Today, on this special occasion Amitabh Bachchan took to his social handle and praised his son for his brilliant performance in the film. However, fans were quick enough to notice that the Kalki 2989 Ad actor has missed his daughter-in-law in an appreciation post.

Taking to his X handle, Amitabh Bachchan shared the video which is a compilation of Abhishek Bachchan’s scenes. He wrote, “Abhishek an unforgettable performance  .. so different from all the others in other films of yours .. and that is the true value of an artist  !! love.” As soon as he shared the post, fans started commenting asking about Aishwarya Rai. One of the fans asked, “Sir,Aishwarya too was superb in movie. ..not fair to not praising her acting.” Another wrote, “The lady in this video has also given unforgettable performance. She is truly brilliant artist.” Raavan was released on 18^th June, 2010. The film also starred Vikram and Govinda.

This is not the first time Amitabh Bachchan has shared an appreciation post for his son. Earlier, when Yuva completed 20 years, he shared an old photo and penned a long note for Abhishek Bachchan.

Recently, a report came in that Abhishek Bachchan has bought six flats for Rs 15.42 crore in Borivali area of Mumbai. The actor purchased the apartments in the Oberoi Sky City project by Oberoi Realty, according to a report in Money Control.com. The six apartments sprawl a total of 4,894 square feet and were sold at a rate of Rs 31,498 per square feet. The sale agreement was signed on May 5, 2024.

The six apartments are on the 57th floor of the high-rise building located along the Western Express Highway (WEH) in Borivali East, and come with 10 car parkings.

On the work front, director Shoojit Sircar announced his next film starring Abhishek Bachchan. The yet-to-be-titled film is slated for release on November 15, 2024.

Amitabh Bachchan will be next seen in Kalki 2898 AD with Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. The makers have recently release trailer of the film. He also has The Intern with Deepika Padukone in his kitty.
