Coolie: Lokesh Emotional After Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna's Brutal Fight Leaks, Says 'Two Months Of...'
A scene from Coolie leaked online. The video featured Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna.

Director Lokesh Kanagaraj was heartbroken after a video from the sets of Coolie leaked online. The leaked video ruined a major action scene featuring Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna. The film, which went on floors two months ago, managed to keep everything under tight wraps. However, a person present on the sets of the day Rajinikanth was filming a crucial action scene recorded the same and shared it online. Lokesh is understandably upset with the leak.

“Two months of hard work by many people have gone in vain because of one recording. I humbly request everyone not to engage in such practices, as they spoil the overall experience. Thank you,” he said in a post shared on X.

In the video, Rajinikanth was seen holding a hammer in his hand while beating up what seemed to be Nagarjuna. The Tamil superstar was seen wearing a white costume and in an interesting avatar. The video got everyone excited. However, Lokesh was left disappointed.

While Lokesh Kanagaraj is on the directorial duties of the film, he has also co-written it with Chandhru Anbazhagan. It stars Rajnikanth in the titular role with an ensemble cast of Nagarjuna, who will be seen as the antagonist, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Upendra and Mahendran. It is being produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures while Anirudh Ravichander is doing the music. The cinematography is done by Girish Gangadharan and the editor is Philomin Raj. Soubin Shahir is set to make his Tamil film debut with the release.

Rajinikanth’s character is named Deva in the film and it seems like he is ready to set the screen on fire with his action avatar.
