Dharmendra needs no introduction. In his career spanning decades, the He-Man of Bollywood has entertained the audience with his stellar performances and on-screen charisma. Even at 88, the talented actor has been actively continuing his acting streak. His latest cameo appearance was in the Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon starrer Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. With years of experience in the Hindi film industry, when Dharmendra compliments an actor or an actress of the new generation, it means a lot to them. Seems like the Sholay star is most impressed by Ranbir Kapoor’s acting chops as he recently heaped praise on him on social media.
On February 18, Dharmendra dropped a throwback picture with Ranbir Kapoor on Instagram calling him a “Loving and talented boy.” The photograph was presumably taken at an award ceremony, during Ranbir’s younger days. Dharmendra was dressed in a beige suit that he layered with a white shirt underneath and a patterned tie. Ranbir donned an all-black suit for the night, complimenting his attire with a red shirt and a matching bow. The veteran actor shared a beaming smile with Ranbir, wrapping an arm around him affectionately and posing for the click.

Soon after the post surfaced on the Internet, Bobby Deol showered love on the snap by liking it. Others reacted to the photo by going all hearts in the comments.
Ranbir Kapoor recently wowed movie enthusiasts with his on-fleek performance in Animal. Directed by Kabir Singh fame Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the action-crime also starred Bobby Deol as the antagonist with Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead. Although the film landed in controversy for glorifying certain aspects like toxic masculinity, misogyny, and unnecessary violence, Animal was hailed for its high-octane action sequences and excellent soundscore. Ranbir even bagged the Filmfare Best Actor award for Animal.
Earlier, in an interaction with News18, Bobby Deol called himself a “big fan of Ranbir”. “He’s my favourite actor and he’s the best. I was completely mesmerised by him. We were so much in sync. We shared a chemistry that was so natural and magical. I loved every moment,” he said.
