Author EL James reportedly has demanded for more creative control over 'Fifty Shades of Grey' sequel, which is based on 'Fifty Shades Darker'.
Universal studios has not announced the greenlight for the sequel because they're still discussing details with James. It is likely that the production for the upcoming movie will start in early 2016, reported Ace Showbiz.
Rumour has it, director Sam Taylor-Johnson and screenwriter Kelly Marcel are not coming back for the sequel.
Taylor-Johnson previously admitted to clashing with James over details regarding the movie.
"It was difficult, I'm not going to lie," Taylor-Johnson told Porter magazine recently. "We definitely fought but they were creative fights and we would resolve them."
A representative for Universal has responded to the news about James wanting more creative control over the script.
"The studio had always intended to sit down with the author after the film opened and discuss next steps and that has not yet happened," the representative told the news outlet.
'Fifty Shades of Grey' tells the story of a businessman named Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) who is into BDSM. Dakota Johnson plays his girlfriend Ana Steele. The raunchy movie is currently enjoying its success, raking in USD 311 million worldwide.
