Ryan Gosling’s upcoming action comedy film, The Fall Guy, made its Los Angeles premiere on 30 April. Initially seen on the red carpet with co-star Emily Blunt in a mint-green Gucci suit, Gosling subsequently made a comeback, but with a somewhat different appearance. Gosling, escorted by Saturday Night Live (SNL) cast member Mikey Day, showed out on the red carpet as Beavis and Butthead. The Barbie star was seen wearing a blonde wig and a blue shirt that said “Death Rock,” while Day was wearing a grey shirt that said “Skull.”
The two recreated their recent live-action renditions of Beavis and Butthead from a viral clip from the April 13 broadcast of SNL.

In the original sketch, Heidi Gardner played a news anchor questioning a professor (Kenan Thompson) on the hazards of artificial intelligence. However, two audience members—Day and Gosling—kept drawing Thompson’s character’s attention away from Gardner with their striking resemblance to characters from 1990s cartoons.
Gosling’s Beavis was requested to move as he was thought to be too distracting, and Mikey Day, costumed as Butt-Head, took his place.
When everyone saw the two of them in their absurd costumes for the first time. Not even the reliable Gardner could maintain composure.
This resulted in a skit that had everyone laughing uncontrollably.

The SNL telecast attracted 8.9 million views overall, according to NBC. This is the highest since December 11, 2021, when Billie Eilish was the host of the show.
The Gosling segment, in which he promoted the movie The Fall Guy, has had the most viewership on Peacock among all SNL episodes.
Beavis and Butthead was a popular adult cartoon sitcom on MTV in the mid-1990s. The two main characters were heavy metal fans who would do foolish things to get thrilled.
Meanwhile, The Fall Guy centres on Gosling’s character, Colt Seavers, a battle-scarred stuntman who left the industry a year ago to prioritise his physical and mental well-being. He is called back into action when the star of a big-budget studio film, which is being directed by his ex-partner Jody Moreno (Blunt), disappears.
The film was inspired by Glen A. Larson’s 1980s ABC series, which featured Lee Majors as Colt Seavers. Over 100 episodes of The Fall Guy were created throughout its five seasons on the Alphabet Network.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Teresa Palmar, Stephanie Tsu, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Hannah Waddingham also feature in the movie.
