On Saturday, Farhan took to Instagram to share these awe-inspiring shots from the set. The first image features several tents set against the majestic Ladakh mountains and a clear, dreamlike sky, capturing the essence of a peaceful morning. Another shot offers a look from inside his tent, displaying the breathtaking Ladakhi scenery that has everyone buzzing with excitement. His caption for the post was simple yet evocative: “A quiet base.”

According to ETimes, Farhan has undergone a significant transformation for his role, working towards a leaner physique inspired by Param Vir Chakra recipient Major Shaitan Singh, whom he portrays in the film. Keeping his new look under wraps, Farhan has made fewer public appearances, and even the official announcement of 120 Bahadur didn’t reveal his look.

Earlier, Akhtar had announced 120 Bahadur with a motion poster on Instagram, featuring the powerful line, “Vo teen the… Aur hum? 120 Bahadur.” Directed by Razneesh “Razy” Ghai, the film marks Akhtar’s first acting role since Toofaan in 2021.

In his caption, Akhtar expressed his deep honor in portraying the story of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, PVC, and the soldiers of Charlie Company, 13 Kumaon Regiment. The film revolves around the heroic Battle of Rezang La, fought during the Indo-China War on November 18, 1962. Akhtar also acknowledged the invaluable support of the Indian Army and emphasized his commitment to portraying the bravery of these soldiers with the utmost respect.

With a remarkable filmography that includes critically acclaimed works like Rock On!!, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, and Dil Dhadakne Do, Farhan’s return to the silver screen after a three-year break is eagerly awaited. Besides his role in 120 Bahadur, Farhan is also set to direct the highly anticipated Don 3, starring Ranveer Singh and Kiara Advani.
