Despite being engrossed in the filming for the next project in North Carolina, Sydney Sweeney is always alert, taking care of her house in Los Angeles from miles away. In a testament, she recently helped law enforcement in catching a burglar in her neighbourhood. How? Here we tell you. On October 14, Sydney Sweeney received a notification from her home security system. Her doorbell camera detected a movement in her house. As the actress dived in, she found out that a person was sneaking around her property. Immediately, she contacted the authorities, informing them about the whole incident, as reported by TMZ.

According to law enforcement sources, the burglar gained access to Sydney Sweeney’s property through the house of one of her neighbours. Taking a few personal belongings, he fled from the spot. Later, when the actress reached out to the authorities, the local police took action, apprehending him. He was also arrested for burglary.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), in one of its reports, confirmed, “Comments of the call indicated there were possibly three suspects at the location.” It added that the officers on duty had “requested additional units for a building search,” leading to the arrest of one suspect.

During all this while, Sydney Sweeney was filming her new project, based on the biopic focusing on boxer Christy Martin’s life. On October 16, the Euphoria actress shared a few pictures of herself from the set of the film wherein she is seen proudly flaunting her muscles and a big smile.

In a long caption attached to the post, she wrote, “Well, the cats are out of the bag thanks to some paps in bushes so here’s a little bts from my film I’m working on right now.”

Further detailing her experience in the past few months while also highlighting her training to get into the skin of the character, she added, “Over the past few months, I’ve been immersed in training to bring to life the story of an incredible woman—a true champion who fought battles both inside and outside the ring. Her journey is a testament to resilience, strength, and hope, and I’m honored to step into her shoes to share her powerful story with you all.”

The yet-to-be-titled project, directed by David Michôd, also stars Katy O’Brian and Ben Foster.
