The actress is not a fan of the shows that are shown on TV nowadays.
“When I first did a TV show in the year 1994, I now realize that the roles and scripts were so much better back then. When I was chosen for a role in ‘Banegi Apni Baat’, I was already big fan of the show. I personally don’t like the work that is being done on TV these days,” she said.
On being asked about why she has kept herself away from TV for so long, the actress said, “I don’t get the kind of roles that appeal to me. I have never considered acting as work, I have always done it for fun and nothing interesting is coming my way on TV that should really compel me to do that”.
Sandhya, who will be seen next in Pan Nalin’s ‘Angry Indian Goddesses’ is quite excited about her role in the movie. She is playing the role of businesswoman, who is supposed to balance her work along with her family.
The movie is set for a November 27 release.
