Chennai: Kabali starring southern superstar Rajinikanth, drew thousands to theatres across India on the very first day, with diehard fans leaving no stone unturned in Tamil Nadu, where some offices declared a holiday.
While the critics are not too pleased with the film, the fans-frenzy is least affected by them. The first day frenzy has been experienced most in South India with Tamil Nadu topping the list. Fans from Bengaluru were flown down to Chennai by Air Asia to experience the phenomenon that is Rajinikanth.
