Kareena Kapoor And Sharmila Tagore Dance Together In Rare Ad Shot At Pataudi Palace | Watch

Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor has always admired her mother-in-law, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore. Recently, in a new video, Kareena is seen enjoying her time with Sharmila at their ancestral home, Pataudi Palace, for an advertisement. The clip shows them dancing in their rooms and later sharing a meal at a grand table.

In the new one-minute ad, Kareena and Sharmila are shown having a fun morning in their rooms at the large palace. They wear robes and dance to their own tunes, keeping the rooms tidy. Kareena wore a blue robe, while Sharmila looked elegant in a light brown one. When they eventually meet at the breakfast table, they compliment each other’s robes.

In a PTI interview, Kareena Kapoor had praised her mother-in-law as her role model, saying she’s her inspiration because she juggled her career after marriage and kids, working with top stars and directors. She had said, “She is my inspiration as she continued her career despite getting married and having children. She worked with the biggest superstars and filmmakers. It is important for me to do that. She will always be my inspiration to have a career and family together. I do miss her in films. I have been a great fan of Hema Maliniji and my mother-in-law. I think they have been iconic actresses.”

In a recent episode of Koffee With Karan, Sharmila Tagore talked about Kareena Kapoor joining the family. Praising Kareena, she had said, “I like your consistency. I like the way you keep in touch because I know that if I sent you a message, you will invariably answer. Saif (Ali Khan) would, not Soha (Ali Khan). Soha most certainly won’t reply. I mean, she will take time but you will reply,” Sharmila Tagore said, adding, “If I am coming to the house, you will ask me what I like to eat and I will get what I want. That must be the Kapoor trait because you keep a wonderful table.”

Kareena had said that she thinks Sharmila Tagore looks at her as her daughter. “I genuinely feel that connection and love for her because she has been so warm, so caring. I think she looks at me more like a daughter, like Soha and Saba. It’s always been like that. She’s always made me feel welcomed,” she had said.

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena got married in 2012.
