Liam Payne Death: Maya Henry, Liam Payne’s ex-fiancee, has broken her silence following the tragic death of the former One Direction star. In a statement to DailyMail.com, her representative shared that she is “obviously in shock” after hearing the news of his passing at just 31. The two had been in a tumultuous relationship, marked by claims of obsessive contact that Henry recently made public.

Days before Liam’s death, Henry, 23, had reportedly issued a cease-and-desist letter to him. Her legal team revealed to the Daily Mail that the action was taken due to “new and concerning information.” Her attorneys, Marco Crawford and Daniel Cerna, are now representing her as the situation unfolds.

In a TikTok video earlier this month, Henry alleged that Liam had engaged in obsessive behaviour since their breakup, including reaching out to her and even her family. She described a pattern of communication that involved him blowing up her phone from various numbers and even creating new iCloud accounts to contact her. “It’s always a damn new iCloud account. Every time I see one pop up on my phone I’m like, ‘Here we f—ing go again,’” she expressed in the video.

Henry’s claims raised concerns about the extent of Liam’s attempts to communicate with her, leading her to question whether such behaviour was typical. “He’ll email me… not only me, but he’ll blow up my mom’s phone. Is that normal behaviour to you?” she questioned, drawing attention to what she felt was alarming conduct.

Their relationship began in 2018 after Liam’s split from Cheryl Cole. He proposed to Maya in 2020, but their engagement ended in April 2022, amid accusations of infidelity on his part.

The singer’s life came to a tragic end on October 16 when he reportedly fell from the third floor of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires. Witnesses confirmed the fall, but it remains unclear whether it was accidental or intentional.
