Malaika Arora Says Trolling About Her Relationships 'Affects, Bothers' Her: 'There Is Constant Criticism...'

Malaika Arora is always in the headlines for either her stunning fashion choices or her personal life. Recently, she had everyone’s attention when it was reported that she and Arjun Kapoor had broken up. Prior to that, Malaika faced intense trolling about her relationship due to the age gap between her and Arjun. She was also criticised after her divorce from Arbaaz Khan.

In a recent chat with GlobalSpa Magazine, when asked how she deals with criticism about her relationships or professional life, Malaika Arora said, “In the best way I can. There are times when you feel things don’t bother or affect me, but of course they do.”

“I have also figured out a way to deal with it, get strong about it and not let it pull me down, govern me or get the better out of me. I have figured out a way to insulate me to all of it. Yes, it’s part and parcel of our lives, there is constantly something, criticism, trolling but you just need to block out the noise, the negativity and move on with whatever is positive in your life,” she added.

Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor reportedly broke up earlier this year. Previously, Malaika left fans concerned after she skipped Arjun’s midnight birthday celebration at his Juhu residence in June. She didn’t wish him on social media either, which led to speculation about their possible breakup. Later, Malaika crossed Arjun at an event when they ignored each other and seemingly confirmed their breakup.

Earlier this year, a source informed Pinkvilla that their relationship has “run its course.” “Malaika and Arjun had a very special relationship and both of them will continue to hold a special place in each other’s hearts. They have chosen to part ways and will maintain a dignified silence in this matter. They won’t allow anyone to drag and dissect their relationship,” the source claimed. Back then, Malaika’s manager had dismissed breakup reports calling them “rumours”. However, they broke up later this year.

Years before this, Malaika used to be married to Arbaaz Khan. Malaika and Arbaaz Khan got married in 1998 and welcomed their son Arhaan in 2002. The two parted ways in 2017 and have been co-parenting Arhaan since then. Arbaaz is now married to Sshura Khan, whereas Malaika has reportedly ended her relationship with Arjun Kapoor after a few years of dating.
