South actress Nayanthara and her director-husband Vignesh Shivan are undeniably one of the most popular couples in Tinsel Town. They started dating after crossing paths while filming their 2015 Tamil-language romantic comedy Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. After dating for almost seven years, the couple tied the knot on June 9, 2022. Nayanthara and Vignesh had sold the rights to their wedding documentary to Netflix. After a two-year delay, the documentary film Nayanthara: Beyond the Fairy Tale might soon be released on the streaming platform. While there is no official confirmation on the date of release yet, the film’s runtime has been disclosed. As listed on Netflix, the documentary has a runtime of 1 hour and 21 minutes.
The highly anticipated wedding documentary of the couple is set to capture their love story, personal anecdotes, some memorable moments from their wedding and insight into their life together. The film’s promo trailer was released in September 2022, highlighting Nayanthara and Vignesh’s love for each other and the reason behind choosing one another for life.

Just four months after their wedding through, in October 2022, Nayanthara and Vignesh welcomed their twin announced the birth of their twin children, Uyir and Ulagam, via surrogacy, which sparked controversy. Despite this, the doting parents never miss a chance to celebrate every moment with their little ones. The star couple often shares sneak peeks of their memorable moments with their boys on their Instagram accounts.
On the work front, Nayanthara was last seen in Annapoorani, released in theatres in December 2023. As of now, the actress has Test, Mannangatti Since 1960, Thani Oruvan 2 and Dear Students in the pipeline, while Vignesh is busy shooting Love Insurance Kompany (LIK).
