Pawan Kalyan's son Akira Nandan was mobbed outside a theatre playing his father's 1999 film, Thammudu.

Pawan Kalyan’s son Akira Nandan did not appear happy after fans mobbed him during his recent outing. In a viral video, Akira was spotted playing his father’s film, Thammudu at a theatre in Hyderabad. The 1999 film was re-released shortly after Pawan Kalyan was swore-in as the Deputy Chief Minster of Andhra Pradesh.

In a video shared on Instagram, Akira was seen making his way to his car while fans of the superstar mobbed him. A fan was also seen trying to get Akira’s attention by grabbing his hand. The star kid wasn’t happy with the behaviour and pulled his hand away as he jumped into his car. Watch the video below:

Akira is Pawan Kalyan’s son from his first marriage. The actor-turned-politician was married to Renu Desai. There were rumours doing the rounds claiming Akira is set to make his acting debut. However, Renu shot down the rumours last year. On her Instagram, she shared a story in which she penned, “Guys As Of Now, Akira is not interested in acting or being a hero.”

“Future I can’t predict the future. So please stop speculating every single time I post something on my Instagram. It is my promise to you that if he decides to get into acting I will be the first person to post it on my Instagram,” she added.

Meanwhile, Akira was in the news lately when he joined his father and his stepmother, Anna Lezhneva, to celebrate his father’s win at the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Elections 2024. In videos shared on X, Akira was seen getting emotional as he celebrated the Jana Sena Party leader’s win in the elections.
