Director Rohit Shetty is currently filming additional scenes for the grand climax of Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again, according to a recent report from Midday. These scenes reportedly include a play setup with characters dressed as demons, heightening the dramatic climax of the highly anticipated film. Rohit Shetty is said to be pulling out all the stops to ensure the climax lives up to fan expectations. The filming is taking place at the Golden Tobacco Factory in Mumbai’s Vile Parle area.
“Rohit is shooting with the secondary cast and making last-minute additions to the climax. It involves a grand play-like scene and has many characters dressed as rakshasas (demons), thus adding a folk-based twist to the proceedings,” the source was quoted as saying.
On the first day of shooting, about 500 people showed up at the Vile Parle set. The source added, “The team has set up a large stage, where Rohit will film an elaborate performance that forms the centerpiece of the climax. In the next few days, Ajay (who plays Bajirao Singham) is expected to join the shoot… the scene needed a huge crowd. So, the production team included the people gathered in the scene. Filming is expected to continue until September 11.”
Meanwhile, a new photo online has sparked rumours that Salman Khan might make a cameo as Chulbul Pandey in the film. The photo, shared by a fan page on X, shows Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn together in a scene, and it’s creating quite a buzz among fans.
The speculation follows a recent teaser video from Rohit Shetty, who hinted at a major hero entry. Fans have been guessing, and it seems Salman Khan could be the surprise. However, nothing has been officially confirmed yet.
Singham Again was previously supposed to hit theatres on Independence Day this year. The film was set to lock horns with Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 aka Pushpa: The Rule. However, last week, Ajay Devgn confirmed that the film will not hit theatres in August as they are still shooting for it.
