Sheezan Khan remembered his late Ali Baba co-star Tunisha Sharma in his recent Instagram post. On Thursday, Khan shared a series of throwback pictures from the sets of Ali Baba and penned down an emotional note. In the photos, Sheezan was seen in his Ali Baba avatar. One of the pictures featured Sheezan holding Tunisha’s hand. Another click showcased the two flaunting their bright smiles for the camera.
In the caption of his post, Sheezan Khan celebrated the second anniversary of Ali Baba and shared a motivating note. He urged everyone to ‘fight’ and asked them to believe that things will be fine someday. “I promise you that. Everything is going to be alright. The devils, the hyenas on your head will become smaller and you will become bigger. There will be difficult days but they will pass, I promise. Tricky times will come and you’ll want to throw in the towel. Please don’t do it. Fight, push, continue. Cause everything’s gonna be alright. I promise you that,” he wrote. Check out the post here:
Sheezan Khan’s post also comes 1.5 years after Tunisha Sharma’s tragic death. The actress was found hanging in the makeup room of her show, Ali Baba in December 2022. Following her death, Khan was arrested. Tunisha’s mother accused him of abetment to suicide and claimed that the actor ‘used’ her daughter. Reportedly, Sheezan and Tunisha broke up just 15 days before the latter’s death. However, Sheezan was granted bail in March 2023.
Later, in an interview, Sheezan talked about how his life changed after Tunisha’s death and revealed he would cry for hours even after getting back home from jail and wasn’t able to sleep properly. “I broke down when my bail plea was rejected in January, fearing that I could be languishing inside for a year or more. After being released on bail, I couldn’t sleep properly for 70 days. I felt like a stranger in my own home and would often cry for hours. I was diagnosed with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). I’m grateful to my family for standing by me through this ordeal,” he told E-Times.
