The Marathi language comedy drama Navra Maza Navsacha 2 hit the theatres last week and has amassed praises from the critics and the audience alike. One of the biggest highlights of the film is the unexpected cameo of actress Shriya Pilgaonkar, which has taken the audience by surprise. As per reports, Navra Maza Navsacha 2 is performing incredibly well at the box-office since its release, competing against the blockbuster Stree 2. Shriya’s appearance in the release has surrounded the film with even more buzz among the audience, which has already garnered a lot of love from them. The actress took to Instagram to announce her feature in the film, thanking the makers and fans for the opportunity. Shriya Pilgaonkar was seen in a special song dedicated to the celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi. She shared a series of BTS images from the shoot along with a clip of the song. Shriya is seen wearing a stunning red nauvari saree for her performance. The outfit is accessorised with two necklaces, matching earrings and bright bangles, worn on each wrist.
The shared clip shows Shriya making an epic entry in a Lord Ganesh temple, paying respect to the God, while her parents Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar look on with pride. The actress shared a lengthy caption with the post, where she talks about her excitement to work with her parents. She wrote, “SURPRISE ! Loving all your reactions and videos to my special appearance in Navra Maaza Navsaacha 2.” She wrote further, “I absolutely loved this Ganpati song and dancing in this Navaari with my beautiful Aai @supriyapilgaonkar and directed by my incredible papa @sachin.pilgaonkar is so special.” Shriya concluded the post by thanking everyone for the love Navra Maza Navsacha 2 has received.
Navra Maza Navsacha 2 is helmed and produced by Sachin Pilgaonkar and was released on September 20. The cast includes Sachin Pilgaonkar, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Hemal Ingle, Swapnil Joshi and Ashok Saraf. The music in the film is done by Jitendra Kulkarni and Raviraj Vijay Koltharkar.
