Kapoor & Sons’ peppy track Kar Gayi Chull, starring Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra, is still one of the most played songs at Indian parties. The 2016 track was sung by Badshah, Fazilpuria, Sukriti Kakar and Neha Kakkar and became an instant hit upon its first release. Recently, popular YouTuber and comedian Lilly Singh was seen shaking a leg to the song with Sidharth himself. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt was missing from the frame.
On September 3, Lilly shared the collaborative video with the Bollywood actor on her Instagram account. While the YouTuber was seen wearing a half-and-half shirt paired with black trousers, Sidharth sported a denim look consisting of a jacket and jeans paired with a graphic T-shirt underneath for the video. At the beginning of the clip, the duo was seen perfecting the hook step of the lyrics “Areey ladki beautiful, kar gayi chull”, and then they proceeded to be their goofy selves.
Sharing the reel, Lilly wrote, “You weren’t allowed to go to house parties, so now you make dancing reels with friends Sid Malhotra.” Soon, the duo’s fans and followers started showering their love on them. Meanwhile, Lilly did not forget to compliment the OG Alia by saying, “Clearly not as cute as @aliaabhatt, but God knows we’re trying!”
However, a few disagreed with the YouTuber’s comment and said, “Naah, it’s quite cute.” Furthermore, an Instagram user wrote, “Officially lived every brown girl’s dream,” while another wrote, “The collab we never expected. This looks sick.” A fan of Sidharth said, “What is this behaviour, Mr Malhotra?! Stop being hot and cute all the time.”
On the professional front, Sidharth was last seen in the movie Yodha, which was helmed by Dharma Productions and co-starred Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani. He was also seen in Rohit Shetty’s action thriller Indian Police Force alongside Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty, among others. At present, Sidharth does not have any projects and is still in talks to finalise one.
Meanwhile, multiple reports have suggested that Lilly Singh is one of the richest female YouTubers in the world, with an estimated wealth of $20 million. The comedian boasts a fan following of 14.3 million on YouTube and 13.7 million on Instagram. Over the years, she has collaborated with several big names in the entertainment world, including Bollywood celebrities.
