The cast and crew of the upcoming Telugu film Ooru Peru Bhairavakona was in Visakhapatnam on Saturday for a promotional event titled the Ooru Peru Bhairavakona Magical Tour. Lead actors Sundeep Kishan and Varsha engaged with the media, offering insights into their new venture.
Sundeep Kishan, the film’s lead, shared further details about its release. He announced, “The film is set to hit screens worldwide on the 16th of this month. Premiere shows will be held on 100 screens on the 14th. Audiences are encouraged to enjoy youth-oriented movies alongside Valentine’s Day celebrations.”
Actress Varsha Bollamma shed light on her character, mentioning, “I play a significant role named Bhoomi in this film. Telugu audiences will surely appreciate the freshness of this new movie.” She elaborated, “It’s an entertaining film akin to Virupaksha and I’ve portrayed a character distinct from Swathi Muthyam.” The film is described as a horror thriller with comedic elements. Shot over two years in the Adilabad district of Telangana, it features four songs.
Directed by Vi Anand, Ooru Peru Bhairavakona boasts a stellar cast including Sundeep Kishan, Kavya Thapar, Varsha Bollamma, Vennela Kishore, Harsha Chemudu, among others. The production is helmed by Razesh Danda, Balaji Gutta and Anil Sunkara under the banners of AK Entertainment and Hasya Movies. The music is composed by Shekar Chandra, with Raj Thota as the cinematographer and Chota K Prasad as the editor.
Originally slated for release on February 9, the film’s premiere was postponed due to the release of Ravi Teja-starrer Eagle. However, eager audiences can anticipate the official release of Ooru Peru Bhairavakona on February 16, promising an exciting blend of thrills and entertainment.
