Days ahead of the release of her back-to-back films, Taapsee Pannu jetted off to Paris. ICYDW, the actress celebrated her 37th birthday in the ‘City Of Love’. But, that’s not the only reason she is in France. Being a dedicated wife, Taapsee reached Paris to support her husband Mathias Boe. Mathias is the coach of Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, who represented Indian badminton in the Paris Olympics 2024. Hours ago, she posted a clip on Instagram stories as she attended the quarter-finals of men’s double badminton in Paris.
In the clip, we can see Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy arriving to showcase their top-notch game in the quarter-final match. As the boys entered, the crowd in the background could be heard cheering for them, screaming, “India, India.” Accompanying the video, she wrote, “SatChi!!!”
Subsequently, Taapsee Pannu dropped another story featuring only a sad emoji as Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty were knocked out by Aaron Chia and Wooi Yik Soh, despite an impressive showcase of skill. For her outing, Taapsee sported a bohemian look in a cotton saree paired with a denim top and hair tied up in two buns on both sides.
Not one to lose hope, Taapsee Pannu, in her next story, wrote, “Ok now need to move on n cheer up, there are more matches ahead.” The story also featured a selfie, visibly clicked by Taapsee as she wore her brightest smile. She was accompanied by her sister Shagun Pannu for the match.
After enjoying the double badminton quarter-finale, Taapsee celebrated her special day with her husband Mathias Boe. We got a glimpse of the heartwarming celebrations in another video posted on the follow-up story. She captioned the clip, “If not start, the end of the day can be with a cake.”
Taapsee Pannu married her longtime boyfriend Mathias Boe earlier this year in March. The couple married each other in a private ceremony, with their close friends and family in attendance. Taapsee’s Thappad co-star Pavail Gulati, Abhilash Thapliyal and writer Kanika Dhillon were also present at the ceremony. Satwiksai Raj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty were also invited for the grand day for the couple.
Work-wise, Taapsee Pannu will next be seen in Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba. Set to premiere on August 9, the film also stars Sunny Kaushal and Vikrant Massey in pivotal roles. She also has Khel Khel Mein in the pipeline, scheduled to hit the theatres on August 15.
