Jhankar Music unveiled the teaser of actors Adithya and Ankitha Jayaram starrer Kannada film Kaagada on YouTube on May 28. Ranjith has written and directed the film. The teaser gives an insight into the love story of two teenagers. The premise of this film has been set at a time when lovers didn’t have the facility of smartphones. Therefore, they used to communicate through letters.
Kaagada teaser also gives an insight into the tough times faced by the couple. It ends with Adithya and Ankitha sitting on a cliff and staring at the sky with their school bags kept aside. Arun Kumar A has produced this film with music by S Pradeep Varma and editing by Pavan Gowda. Venus Nagraj Murthy has handled the cinematography of Kaagada. The release date of this film is not out yet.
The teaser of the film left social media users enthralled who loved the glimpses of Adithya and Ankitha’s acting performances. One of the users commented, “All the best Adithya You have given the best in your first movie itself. Very good acting." For Adithya, Kaagada is his debut film but Ankitha has the experience of acting in the 2023 Kannada serial Bhoomige Bandha Bhagavantha. This serial ended in 2024 after completing 305 episodes. This show became a hit for teaching the viewers about the importance of ethics, values and social responsibility. However, it also drew criticism over the negative portrayal of hypnotherapy. The show starred an ensemble cast of actors Naveen Krishna, Umesh, Anurag, Kritika Ravindra and others.
For those who have not watched this serial, it revolves around a middle-class man named Shiva Prasad. Shiva Prasad is stressed with life on the personal and professional front. The show undergoes a riveting change when he meets Lord Shiva in a human form who guides him through all the difficulties of life.
