The Malayalam film Kuruvi Paapa, billed as a family drama, went on floors last year. The film stars Vineeth and Muktha in the lead roles. Directed by Joshy John, the film is gearing up for its release on March 1. Ahead of its release, the makers dropped the teaser of the film, building anticipation around the upcoming movie.
The teaser of the film Kuruvi Paapa gives a glimpse into the world of Kuruvi whom the world saw differently ever since she was born. While the makers kept the plot of the film under wraps, it appears that the story signals the survival of the girl as she navigates through the challenges thrown at her by life.
Produced by Khalid K and Basheer KK under the banner of Zero Plus Entertainments, the film also features Tanha Fatima, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Sajid Yahiya, Johny Antony, Bitto Davis and other actors in pivotal roles. Meanwhile, Pradeep Tom and Yunuseo came on board to compose the music for the film. in addition to that, Dhanya Pradeep and Chandrashekharan Engandiyoor penned the lyrics for the film’s songs.
The teaser received a warm response from the audience as fans took to YouTube to share their reactions. One of the fans wrote, “A very good inspirational movie which everyone should watch… Hope everyone would accept and support this movie very well…," whereas another mentioned, “Waiting."
Meanwhile, veteran actor Vineeth has been entertaining the Malayali audience with his incredible performances. The actor made his debut with IV Sasi’s ‘Idanilangal’ in 1985. In 1986, his performance as an innocent teenager in the romantic drama ‘Nakhashatangal’, written and directed by Hariharan came as a surprise for many. Soon, he solidified his position as a versatile actor and bagged multiple projects.
On the other hand, Muktha is known primarily for her work in Tamil and Malayalam films. The actress started her career with TV as a child artist and gradually began bagging films. Her first film as the lead actress was Lal Jose’s Achanurangatha Veedu, released in 2005. The actress was last seen in the TV serial Nammal. Now, she is all set for her next release with Kuruvi Paapa.
