Veteran filmmaker V Samudra-directed Rama Janma Bhoomi’s teaser was unveiled on May 10 at a launch event held by the Telugu Film Producer Council’s YouTube channel. The teaser promises an action-packed film and also shows glimpses of the jubilant crowd at the Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha ceremony. As of now, the teaser has garnered more than 3,000 views. Rama Janma Bhoomi stars actors Jai Siddarth and Sri Radha. Besides these artists, actors like Nasar, Suman, Ajay Ghosh, Sunil, Anupam Kher, Kishore Kumar G and Prabhakar will also act in this film.
Ravi Shankar composed the music, while S Sri Venkat is in charge of the film’s cinematography. Nandamuri Hari is responsible for the editing.
Many dignitaries were present at the teaser launch event including the veteran actor Murali Mohan. The veteran actor said that the slogan Jai Sri Ram is being chanted across the country. “Samudra Garu has delivered several hits in the past. He is back in full form yet again. I wish the team of this film all the best," he said.
BJP leader from Telangana, Madhavi Latha Kompella, said that Sri Rama is worshipped with great devotion because he never strayed from a dharmic path despite facing problems. She also appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s governance track record in Kashmir. According to the BJP MP, the PM has ended stone-pelting in Kashmir by abrogating Article 370.
V Samudra said that his film conveys an important message for youth, who must follow idealistic politics. He added that Lord Rama was the ideal king, son, and brother. As per V Samudra, the young generation needs to imbibe lessons from his life. The 54-year-old filmmaker said that his film conveys this message.
Actor Jai Siddharth, who plays the protagonist, said that he feels proud to collaborate with a director who has directed hits like Simha Raasi, Siva Ramaraju, Tiger Harischandra Prasad, Sevakudu and Panchakshari.
Till now, the release date for the film has not been released in the public domain.
