Thalapathy Vijay, dubbed one of the biggest superstars in the country, is ready to take theatres by storm with his upcoming release. Before going full-fledgedly into politics, the actor has two more releases, including the highly anticipated The Greatest of All Time (GOAT). Directed by Prabhu Venkat, the film is slated to release on September 5. While advance booking for the film is yet to open in India, it is already creating a buzz overseas. With just one month left, it has been confirmed that Vijay’s GOAT will have its release in Imax format.
Following Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, this is another Tamil film to be released in this format, thus giving it the widest approach across the globe. “Experience #TheGreatestOfAllTime in IMAX from Sept 5th #TheGOATinIMAX,” Imax wrote in an Instagram post.

His previous release, Leo: Bloody Sweet, also had a record collection in the sector. On the other hand, Zee Studios will be releasing The Greatest of All Time in North India, the company announced on Thursday.
“Namma #ThalapathyVijay’s #GOAT goes up North in style! #TheGreatestOfAllTime – North India release by #ZeeStudios in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. Get ready for a roaring rollercoaster ride,” the post read.
