The Family Man’s Sharib Hashmi Gets Nostalgic As He Wishes Wife Nasreen On Valentine’s Day

Sharib Hashmi, known for his performances in Tarla and The Family Man, seems to have taken on the Valentine’s Day fervour. But the actor did not simply make a wish and let the day pass. He decided to make it special for his wife by taking a trip down memory lane and revisiting the initial days of their relationship. Sharib’s wife, Nasreen, survived after being diagnosed with oral cancer. In his special Valentine’s day post, Sharib Hashmi wrote, “Us roz Rose Day tha. Par woh day Roz ki tarah nahin tha. Kyunki us Roz mera Rose is Rose ne qubool kiya tha. Aur ban gayi thi apan ki Valentine Happy Valentine’s Day, Nasreen Hashmi.” He shared an old picture of himself with Nasreen and both were seen smiling brightly for the camera.

His fans were happy to get a glimpse of his pure love story. One of them said, “Wo ROSE har roj aaye aap dono k jewan mai…” while another said, “kya baat hai sirji god bless you both! always stay happy and healthy!”

Sharib Hashmi had earlier openly spoken about the phase when his wife was diagnosed with oral cancer. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Sharib said his wife was first diagnosed in 2018, but just as she was going through a difficult time, he began receiving offers for important roles. One of these was The Family Man. Sharib explained that this was the universe’s way of balancing the scales, since the family experienced both their lows and highs at once. Sharing about his wife’s struggle, he stated, “I have never seen anyone who has such a strong will.”

Sharib expressed that his wife has always been beside him through the difficult phases in his life. He stated, “It was my wife Nasreen who supported me and stood by my side. She told me, ‘If this is what you want to do in life, then I am with you.’ She had left her job after our son was born. But when we exhausted all our savings, it was she who took up a job again to support the family. She was dabbling with her job and family together. Hats off to her.”
