Viaan And Samisha Steal The Spotlight In Shilpa Shetty’s Raksha Bandhan Celebration

Shilpa Shetty is known for celebrating every festival with great enthusiasm and Raksha Bandhan was no different. The Bollywood star spent time with her children, Viaan and Samisha, on special day and shared beautiful photos from the celebration. Both the mother and daughter looked absolutely gorgeous in matching pink traditional outfits, while Viaan stood out in a bright yellow outfit. Although Raj Kundra wasn’t featured in the photo, he might be twinning with his son in yellow attire. The images capture Shilpa and her kids flaunting their bright smiles, showing their close and cheerful bond.

The Shetty family celebrated Raksha Bandhan in style, by wearing picture perfect outfits from the shelf of celebrity designer Gopi Vaid. The actress shared their festive look on Instagram story and thanked Vaid for the stunning ensembles. In the photos, Shilpa is seen sitting next to her son while holding a puja thali with with Rakhi and sweets. Viaan, on the other hand, is shown holding his younger sister, Samisha.

On Raksha Bandhan, Shilpa Shetty shared a touching video featuring the special bond between her children, Viaan and Samisha. In the clip, Viaan is seated on a sofa, while Samisha ties the Rakhi on his wrist and the two exchange sweets. The sweetest moment was captured when Viaan gently kisses Samisha on the forehead. Sharing the video, the actress wrote, “Happy Raksha Bandhan, my heart and my soul,” while the iconic track Phoolon Ka Taron Ka from 1971 movie Hare Rama Hare Krishna plays in the background.

Ahead of Raksha Bandhan, Shilpa Shetty in a conversation with Hindustan Times, spoke about her Rakhi tradition growing up. She said, “We would just visit our cousin’s house, have a good time and then head home. But since I married a Punjabi, I now celebrate the festival with enthusiasm. We were raised with the mindset of ‘Whatever happens, you have to stick with each other’. For us, it’s the bond of blood that ties us together. Growing up, you look at your younger sibling as a child. Chote bhai-behen hote hi irritating hain.”

On the work front, Shilpa, who last appeared in Sukhee and Indian Police Force, will be next seen in Kannada movie, KD – The Devil.
