After Varshangalkku Shesham and Hridayam, Vineeth Sreenivasan is back with the Merryland Cinemas team for a new film. The film, whose title is yet to be finalised, has been scripted by Noble Babu Thomas, who also wrote the screenplay for the national award-winning film Helen, which was later made into a Bollywood film Mili starring Janhvi Kapoor.
Vineeth Sreenivasan’s upcoming directorial has music composed by Shaan Rahman. Award-winning cinematographer Jomon T John, known for his work in Malayalam and Hindi including Simmba, Sooryavanshi and Cirkus will be handling the camera for the upcoming film. Although Merryland Cinemas has kept further details about this film under wraps, the announcement has already created considerable excitement among fans and industry insiders alike.
Musician Shaan Rahman shared a picture on Instagram with Vineeth Sreenivasan, Jomon T John, the producer, and Noble Babu Thomas and confirmed, “NEXT!!! Stage 1 – Completed.”

I remember reading @vineeth84’s blog before he started shooting for Thira, in which he wrote, “I’m getting into my favourite genre – thriller,” and I’m sure you can still make a great thriller film. And thank you for making Thira, which is a major reason for my desire to become a filmmaker.”
Meanwhile, Vineeth Sreenivasan’s Varshangalkku Shesham is currently streaming on OTT. He is an Indian playback singer, actor, film director, screenwriter, producer, lyricist, creative director and dubbing artist. He works primarily in Malayalam cinema and is the elder son of actor and screenwriter Sreenivasan.
Vineeth made his acting debut as one of the lead actors in the Malayalam film Cycle, which did well at the box office. His second film role was opposite his father in the film Makante Achan. He writes the lyrics of most of the songs in his album and has also directed his music videos.
