Last year, the production of ‘Welcome 2 Karachi’ came to standstill when Irrfan Khan opted out of the project, courtesy some prior commitments. Shortly thereafter, producer Vashu Bhagnani roped in his son Jackky to replace Khan and get things back on track. Now, the movie has finally arrived in theatres.
Directed Ashish Mohan, ‘Welcome 2 Karachi’ is touted as a fun-filled action-comedy. It revolves around two Indians who get stranded in Pakistan, thanks to a weird turn of events. Interestingly, the movie also features Arshad Warsi and Lauren Gottlieb in important roles. Warsi is known for his perfect comic timing. His chemistry with Jackky is likely to be one of the major highlights of the film.
