Katrina Kaif is happily married to Vicky Kaushal and the couple often give glimpses of their blissful married life. But there was a time when she was finding it hard to deal with her breakups. Talking about the same in an old interview with DNA, the Merry Christmas actress shared insights into navigating the challenges of break-ups, revealing a resilient mindset shaped by lessons learned through experience.
The interview was taken in 2016, and Katrina was quoted saying, “My take on love is never going to change. I feel my views on love have grown and evolved. I have learned to deal with relationships, people, learnt to be less selfish, more giving, more supportive of a person’s dreams, more supportive of a person’s internal growth apart from your own and understanding the person better. That comes with maturity but your belief in love, your conviction in love, the passion that you feel when you are in love, the integrity that you believe and hope for out of love, hopefully, for me, will always be the same.” Katrina Kaif was also in an alleged relationship with Ranbir Kapoor but the couple parted ways.
In the same interview, she also said that nothing and nobody can put me off love. “I can never be off love for good, nor can I become cynical about it. Nothing and nobody can put me off love. (Smiles quizzically). Love is the most beautiful thing in the world. I have no reason to be cynical about absolutely anything in life. I have only seen the beauty and the most beautiful parts of life and I see only beauty in life and love,” she was quoted saying.
Talking about her work front, Katrina Kaif was last seen in Merry Christmas with Vijay Sethupathi. The film was loved by fans. In an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, Katrina opens up about the audience reception. “I have wanted to do something with Sriram sir for a long time and we have had multiple conversations about it. There is a certain rawness and realness with the genre that he explores through his previous films. But beyond that, there is a human quality that comes across in the characters that he creates which for me was fascinating. As an actor, Merry Christmas is an opportunity that you don’t get every day. I am very happy with the kind of positive response that we are getting for the film,” she said.
