Why 'Srimanthudu' Mahesh Babu is a success in professional and personal life

Hyderabad: In just a few days from now Mahesh Babu’s much-hyped action-drama ‘Srimanthudu’ will arrive in theatres sending the superstar’s die-hard fans into frenzy. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film features Mahesh in a rough and though avatar, helping him add another feather to his cap.

While the buzz surrounding ‘Srimanthudu’ serves as strong proof of the tremendous popularity enjoyed by him in the Telugu film industry, it has also very effectively shifted the focus away from his highly successful personal life.

Born and brought up in Chennai, Mahesh is the son of noted actor Krishna. Needless to say he was exposed to films right from a young age and made his debut as a child artist at the age of four. After being part of several high profile projects like ‘Bazaar Rowdy’ and ‘Gudachari 117’, he took a break to concentrate on studies.

An alumnus of a reputed school, Mahesh fared well on the academic front. However, Mathematics gave him nightmares.

After wrapping up studies he made his debut as a leading actor in 1999, Mahesh soon established himself as a force to be reckoned with, delivering hits such as ‘Okkadu’ and ‘Murari’.

In the meantime, the charismatic star fell in love with his ‘Vamsi’ co-star Namrata Shirodhkar. After dating for nearly three years the lovebirds tied the knot in Mumbai, where they were shooting for ‘Athadu’.

Nearly a year later Mahesh received a priceless gift from his wife when she gave birth to a boy who was later named Gautham Krishna. Interestingly, the baby was born premature and required medical attention before being discharged.

Following in his father’s footsteps, Gautham too made his big screen debut as a child actor sometime back.

Nearly six years after Krishna’s birth, Mahesh became father yet again when Namrata gave birth to a girl. Born in 2012, she was named Sitara. Interestingly, prior to her birth Mahesh preserved her stem cells and ensured that she had a high level of immunity.

Based on these facts, it would be safe to say Mahesh is truly a loving father, caring husband and dedicated son. Let us hope ‘Srimanthudu’ fares well at the ticket window, bringing further joy to his life.
