Arjun Kapoor Secretly Watches Salman Khan's Tiger 3 Amid Rumoured Feud; Pics Go Viral

Arjun Kapoor made his way to a theatre in South Mumbai to watch Tiger 3. The actor, who is rumoured to be involved in a cold war with Salman Khan, was seen seated in an IMAX theatre with War and Pathaan director Siddharth Anand. In photos shared on Instagram and by Zoom, Arjun was seen keeping a low profile at the theatre. He slipped into a black sweatshirt and pair of matching pants. He sported a black cap to complete his look. Arjun was at the cinemas sans his girlfriend, Malaika Arora.

Tiger 3 released on Sunday, on the occasion of Diwali. Apart from Salman, the film stars Arjun’s good friend Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. The new photos come amid reports that Arjun and Salman have a strained relationship. Although the cause of behind the strained relationship is still unknown, Arjun shares a history with Salman and his family. It is known that it was the superstar who encouraged Arjun to pursue acting. Salman even helped Arjun shape up to make an impressive debut.

It is reported that Arjun was once dating Salman’s younger sister Arpita Khan. They apparently broke up in 2005. Arpita is now married to actor Aayush Sharma and the couple has two kids together. Arjun is currently dating Malaika Arora, who was previously married to Salman Khan’s brother Arbaaz Khan. Arjun and Malika have been together for over five years now. Malaika also shares a son with Arbaaz.

Although Arjun has never addressed the feud claims in public, his father, producer Boney Kapoor had confirmed that his relationship with Salman has been ‘strained’ in recent years.

In a 2020 interview with news agency IANS, Boney revealed that it was Salman who encouraged Arjun to become an actor. “Arjun always wanted to become a film director and that is why I had no plan to launch him, like a new hero. That was not our plan at all. But one day, I got a call from Salman saying Arjun should try his hand in acting because he has all the elements to become one. So, Salman took Arjun under his wings and groomed him.”

“Unfortunately, my relationship with Salman is strained now, but initially Salman encouraged Arjun to get into acting. I owe this to Salman,” Boney had said.
