Disha Vakani Returning To Iconic Show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah?

TV’s one of the most popular sitcoms Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has been in the headlines for the longest time. Since its lead actress Disha Vakani, who portrayed the character of Dayaben, took a maternity leave and left the show, fans have been waiting for her return.

However, instead of her return, all they saw was stars like Shailesh Lodha, Neha Mehta, Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal and Monika Bhadoriya quitting the show abruptly. Now, Dayaben’s fans can sigh with relief as she reportedly makes a comeback to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah and fans are surprised to see how she looks now.

In October, Disha Vakani was spotted at a school during the Navratri time. She wore a beautiful yellow lehenga and paired it with a pink dupatta and blouse. She was seen accompanied by her daughter and husband. But what caught our attention was how fans kept urging her to make her come back to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

A user commented, “Hey maa mataji, Disha aap vapas aa jao show mai. Aapke Bina show ki comedy khatam si ho gayi hai or mai aapke show ki die-hard fan hu (Oh God, Disha, please come back for the show. Speaking of her comeback to Television, a verified fan page of the show dropped a video of the show in which Jethalal is seen telling his son Tapu that his mother, Dayaben, along with her brother, Sunder, will be returning from Ahmedabad to celebrate Diwali. While they break out dancing celebrating the homecoming of Dayaben, Taarak on the other hand, doubts if Daya Bhabhi will truly return.

The caption read, “Taarak ko hai Sunder ki baato pe shak (Taarak doubts Sunder).” Right after the video surfaced, fans slammed the makers as they suspected they were being fooled. A few threatened to quit watching the show if Disha Vakani did not come back to the show.
