Hugh Jackman Shaves Off His Wolverine Beard After Deadpool 3 Completes Shooting

The joy of Marvel fans knew no bounds when Ryan Reynolds on January 24 announced that Deadpool 3 had finally wrapped filming. Taking to his social media handles, the actor dropped a below-the-belt picture of his spandex superhero costume. He expressed his gratitude to Deadpool 3’s cast and crew members for their hard work and efforts in making the film. Following the shooting completion, Ryan Reynold’s co-star Hugh Jackman bid goodbye to the memories during the filming stage in the most interesting manner. Sharing a video on Instagram, he offered a sneak peek into shaving his beard and opting for a clean-shaven look.

Hugh Jackman, who will play the role of Logan from Wolverine in Deadpool 3, has decided to step out of his superhero appearance. While letting go of his Wolverine-inspired bearded avatar, the actor heaped praises on the cast and crew members of the Shawn Levy directorial. Hugh also revealed the rigorous training and strict diet he underwent to get into shape for his role. “What a ride! I’ve loved every minute of making this movie. Well … not the 4a training or the steamed fish and veg 4 x a day for 6 months but the other 93.2%. A collective thank you to the entire cast and crew. You are all aces,” he wrote.

Continuing his long note, Hugh Jackman thanked two of his “best mates, Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy”. “I literally couldn’t have done this without you. LITERALLY! July 26th can’t come soon enough. Time to shave,” he concluded. The time-lapse video captured Hugh Jackman sitting on a chair presumably at a grooming studio. One of the two stylists combed and gave the actor a fresh haircut. The other style expert was seen shaving off his beard and trimming his mustache.

As soon as the post surfaced on the internet, Marvel and Wolverine fans were quick to comment on Hugh Jackman’s post. “We can’t wait.. gonna break numbers for sure! July can’t come fast enough,” commented one excited user. “You and Ryan are going to give us all heart attacks when this film drops,” joked another. “The best movie of 2024, phew…the best movie of the century is coming!!! Deadpool 3’s trailer is scheduled to premiere at the 2024 Super Bowl. The film will hit the big screens on July 26.
