Inside Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram's Pre-Wedding Festivities

Celebrity couple Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram’s pre-wedding festivities have begun, and they are all set to get married today, November 29 in an intimate ceremony that will be attended by close relatives and friends. Earlier, the couple was spotted at a temple visit in Imphal, Manipur, to seek blessings as they embarked on this new journey. In the latest, one of their friends released a series of pre-wedding festivities pictures that feature the bride, groom, and their wedding party.

The series of photos shared on Instagram showed Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram posing with their friends and family while all of them donned matching red and black shawls. In one of the pictures, all of them could be seen enjoying a lavish feast. “Pre wedding glimpse ! Lin & Randeep,” read the caption.

The couple also sought blessings at a temple in Heingang, Imphal East district, ahead of the wedding. Lin took to social media to share photos from their visit. Randeep Hooda was seen inside the temple performing rites while dressed in a well-cut kurta. On the other hand, Lin chose a beautiful pink saree for the special occasion.

Randeep and Lin Laishram had kept their relationship private. They published a joint statement on Instagram confirming their wedding date some days ago. The statement read, “Taking a leaf out of Mahabharata where Arjuna married Manipuri Warrior Princess Chitrangada, We are getting married with the blessings from our families and friends. We are filled with immense joy to share that our marriage will take place on the 29th of November 2023, Imphal, Manipur followed by a reception in Mumbai. As we set to embark on this journey, we seek your blessings and love for this union of cultures, for which we are forever indebted and grateful. IN LOVE AND LIGHT, LIN & RANDEEP.”

Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram are getting married as per traditional Meitei rituals. “I felt that it’s only respectful to come and marry in the bride’s traditions. I look forward to the ceremony and experiencing my partner’s culture. I just hope I don’t make any mistakes,” Hindustan Times quoted Randeep as saying.

Randeep Hooda’s most recent appearance was in Prawaal Raman’s Sergeant which premiered on Jio Cinema. The actor will next be seen in Swatantra Veer Savarkar. Lin Laishram was most recently seen in Jaane Jaan along with Kareena Kapoor, Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat who also played important roles in the mystery thriller.
