Kangana Ranaut Gets A Warm Homecoming As She Reunites With Her ‘Lil Girl’; See Photo

For the holiday season, Kangana Ranaut has jetted off to her hometown in Himachal. The actress upon arriving, received a warm welcome from her pet dog. Sharing a photo with her, the Queen actress wrote, ‘Reunited with my lil girl and the mighty Himalayas’.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana Ranaut was last seen in Tejas. Ranaut played the lead role of IAF officer Tejas Gill, who is on a mission to rescue an Indian spy alongside Anshul Chauhan and Varun Mitra. Released in October 2023, the film failed to impress the audience.  On the work front, she was also seen in the Tamil comedy-horror sequel Chandramukhi 2, in which Kangana played the role of a dancer.

Kangana Ranaut recently took to social media to announce that she has begun working on her next movie in Chennai. She revealed on Saturday, November 18, that the film is a psychological thriller. Even though Kangana did not share much information about the yet-to-be-titled movie, she said that it is a “very unusual and exciting” script. Later in the day, she also revealed that Rajinikanth came to her set to surprise her.

Apart from that, Kangana Ranaut also has Emergency in her pipeline. The film will be releasing next year. Speaking of Emergency, the film revolves around the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and features Kangana in the titular role of the late politician. The former prime minister had imposed the Emergency in the country in 1975.

Helmed by Kangana herself, the film also stars Anupam Kher in the role of revolutionary leader J P Narayan, Shreyas Talpade as former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, and Milind Soman as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
