Veteran actress Mumtaz and legendary singer Asha Bhosle recently had a mini reunion and danced their heart out to their 70’s hit song Koi Sehri Babu. The former was seen teaching steps to the singer. A video of the same has gone viral on social media. The hit song ‘Koi Sehri Babu Dil Lehri Babu’ is from the 1973 film Loafer.
In the viral video, Mumtaz looked pretty donning a traditional golden and black salwar kameez, which she paired with her iconic half high-ponytail. Asha on the other hand looked elegant in a white saree and joined Mumtaz and matched the steps with her. Asha lent her voice for the hit number and it was composed by the iconic duo Laxmikant Pyarelal.

Mumtaz might be away from the silver screen, but she enjoys a massive fan following. She often interacts with fans on social media. During an Instagram live, she was asked if she’s make a comeback to movies. “Bollywood? I do not know. I am not sure if I will get the kind of role that really touches my heart and it will be nice and people will appreciate it.” She then added jokingly, “First I will have to take my husband’s permission. He will say, ‘Okay you can do one’. Then maybe I will. Otherwise no.”
Asha Bhosle on the other hand celebrated her 90th birthday this year. She marked her special day with a gran Broadway-style live show. Earlier in an interview with Indian Express, she opened up on planning her birthday, stating, “I like doing extraordinary things. I decided to do a spectacular concert on my 90th birthday. I doubt if anyone in the world has achieved this feat.”
