Sara Ali Khan NEVER Auditioned For Tripti Dimri's Role In Animal? Here’s What We Know
While it was recently reported that Sara Ali Khan had also auditioned for Triptii's part in Animal, an insider has now revealed that it was never the case.

Triptii Dimri has become a national sensation ever since the release of Animal. Her chemistry with Ranbir Kapoor in Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial is being widely loved by all. While it was recently reported that Sara Ali Khan had also auditioned for Triptii’s part in the movie, an insider has now revealed that it was never the case.

Putting all the false rumours to rest, an industry insider has revealed that “Sara Ali Khan never auditioned for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Animal”.

For the unversed, the rumours of Sara Ali Khan auditioning for the role made headlines after an old Filmfare report claiming the same surfaced on social media. The report argued that Sandeep wasn’t convinced that Sara would be able to pull off the bold scene, and therefore, when he auditioned Triptii, she impressed the director.

Triptii Dimri played the role of Zoya in Animal. In a recent interview, the actress talked about the Animal scene in which Ranbir Kapoor’s character Vijay Singh asked her to lick his shoe to prove that she truly loved him. “It reminded me of what my acting coach had told me, the golden rule: Never judge your character,” Tripti told Indian Express.com.

“The characters you are playing, the character your c0-actor is playing, all are human and humans have good and bad side. An actor must be prepared to play characters across the spectrum of good, bad and ugly, but if you judge a character’s motivations, thoughts, you won’t be able to play it with honesty. So that’s what I kept in mind,” the actress added.

Released on December 1, Animal is getting an overwhelming response from the audience. The film, which also starred Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in key roles, collected Rs 23.5 crores on its second Friday, taking its total collection in India to Rs 361.08 crores.
