Shah Rukh Khan Mocks Zero's Box Office Performance As Fan Poses Math Query: 'Phir Aa Aaye Zero Ki...'

The year 2023 has undoubtedly shaped up to be Shah Rukh Khan’s year. Following a remarkable return with Pathaan in January and a blockbuster performance in Jawan, excitement is high for his third film of the year, Dunki, scheduled for release in December. While basking in the success of Jawan and waiting for Dunki, Shah Rukh Khan recently engaged in an ASK SRK session.

During the chat, one user asked him about his 2018 film Zero, which, unfortunately, did not receive favourable reviews. The user tactfully wrote, “Sir 1÷0 kitna hai??” Reacting to this, SRK took an indirect dig at Zero and replied, “Phir aa gaye Zero ki yaad dilane!!!! Chal 9-2-11 ho jaa yahan se (You are back to reminding me about Zero! Get lost from here)!!!”

During the success meet of Pathaan, the actor had revealed that when his films didn’t work, he wanted to pick up an alternate business and in fact thought of opening a restaurant. “My last film Zero didn’t work. And people were like, my films will not work anymore, so I thought of picking up alternate business. I also learnt how to cook, hoping that maybe I’d open a restaurant. I learnt to make Italian.”

While everyone is eagerly waiting for Dunki, the makers have finally dropped the trailer, leaving all even more excited.

The trailer offers a peek into the endearing world of Rajkumar Hirani. Opening with SRK onboard a train, setting the tone for the adventure that lies ahead. The video unit introduces the wonderfully whimsical characters starting with Hardy, played by SRK, who enters a picturesque village in Punjab and encounters a group of spirited friends – Manu, Sukhi, Buggu, and Balli, all sharing a common dream of travelling to London in pursuit of better opportunities and a better life for their loved ones back home.
