Sharmila looks graceful in a black floral sari, while Saif is dapper in a black suit. Karan, asking Saif a question, jokingly said, “You look bewildered,” To this, Saif added, “As I often am on this couch.” When Karan asked Sharmila Tagore about a story from Saif’s college days, the veteran actress revealed, “He didn’t go to university. He asked the air hostess out, and they went somewhere.” Saif, looking embarrassed, said, “These dalliances are exaggerated.”

Karan also asked Saif about what qualities Kareena has rubbed off on him, and Saif looked visibly embarrassed. He responded with, “Rubbed what?” Karan clarified that it wasn’t a vulgar question. Saif then pointed out that his mother was also present on the couch.

Not too long ago, Sharmila celebrated her 79th birthday with Saif and the entire family. Soha shared a post featuring the whole family gathered for pictures. In one photo, Sharmila, Taimur, Soha, and Kareena were joined by Saif Ali Khan, Sara Ali Khan, and Ibrahim Ali Khan. The photo also included Saba Ali Khan, Inaaya Kemmu and Kunal Kemmu.

In a video that Kareena shared, Sharmila cut the cake while Saba fed her a piece and gave her a kiss. Sara also fed her grandmother cake, and Inaaya eagerly opened her mouth for the dessert. The group joyfully sang the “Baar Baar Din Ye Aaye” song.

Sharmila Tagore was last seen in Gulmohar, which premiered on Disney+ Hotstar in March this year. Directed by Rahul Chittella, the film featured a cast including Manoj Bajpayee, Simran, and Suraj Sharma. Sharmila, known for her debut in Satyajit Ray’s Apur Sansar (1959), has worked in many Hindi classics such as Kashmir Ki Kali, Waqt, An Evening in Paris, Aranyer Din Ratri and more.
