Koffee With Karan Season 8 has been making the noise for many reasons. While the first episode featuring Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh had people in awe of their undeniable chemistry, the next one turned out to be a ‘Gadar’ one with the Deol brothers gracing the show. Now, the much-awaited third episode of the controversial talk show is out and this time, the guests were the star kids with the inflammable energy – Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday. They both have won the internet with their intriguing revelations and adorable bonding with each other.
Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday share a warm friendship despite their contrasting personalities. During the candid interaction with the filmmaker Karan Johar at his talk show, Ananya Panday recalled a hilarious incident and unveiled how crazy the Simmba actress is. All this began when Karan Johar stated that Sara Ali Khan is a ‘riot’ among the people who know her and that she is a ‘light-weight’ personality. This statement by the host prompted Ananya to share an interesting story when Sara Ali Khan took her to Chowpatty at 3 AM after attending a party together. Notably, the party was organized by Karan at his residence.
Upon reaching there, they were stopped by a policeman who didn’t allow them to enter as it was early morning. As revealed by Ananya, Sara convinced the cop saying: “Look, Ananya Panday is sitting in the car,” while he already recognized both of them. The Liger actress revealed that the Kedarnath star managed to enter Chowpatty with her and they ran into the water. Ananya, while narrating the incident, admitted that Sara made her do things that she wouldn’t have done by herself.
Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan also revealed that she calls Ananya Panday for advice. The actress heaped praises on Ananya saying that she analyses things well and gives the solutions accordingly, especially about what to speak and what to avoid.
Besides all the crazy revelations and fun banters, the episode also saw Sara recalling how the failure of Love Aaj Kal 2 and Coolie No. 1 left her with self-doubt and how it changed her perception. Sara acknowledged the performance errors, saying, “It’s not even about just acknowledging that Love Aaj Kal wasn’t a good performance. It’s about understanding the larger ramifications of that. I actually think that the way Love Aaj Kal not doing well or Coolie No.1 not doing well affected me is way more deep-rooted than I realised.”
She added, “What Love Aaj Kal left was self-doubt to the next level to the point of like even personally, romantically, professionally- ‘Am I good enough? Do I need to compensate for the lack of my doing something else?’”
Next, Sara Ali Khan will star in Anurag Basu’s Metro…In Dino along with Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, and Anupam Kher, whereas, Ananya will be seen in the coming-of-age film Kho Gaye Hum Kahan alongside Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav.
