The inaugural female spy of the YRF Spy Universe is all set to make her grand return to the big screen. Ahead of the release, Katrina Kaif reveals that she underwent rigorous training sessions to portray Zoya, the spy, in the highly anticipated film Tiger 3, starring Salman Khan.
In this third installment of the thrilling spy series, Katrina reprises her beloved role as Zoya from the Tiger franchise. The film’s creators have disclosed that Tiger 3 will feature Katrina executing daring stunts and engaging in intense hand-to-hand combat sequences. She dedicated approximately 60 days to prepare for these challenges, pushing the boundaries of action like never before.
“For Tiger 3, my action prep was at least for about two months. We wanted Zoya to look agile, have more speed, and greater strength. I really had to go through the grind and it was definitely the toughest training of my career so far. When you see the kind of action that Zoya has done, you will realise that such sequences may not have been attempted by a woman before. Executed by some of the best action teams in the world, I’m super excited for audiences to see these sequences on the big screen,” Katrina said in a statement.
Katrina said that in Tiger 3, it is evident that women are capable of anything, especially when it comes to safeguarding their family or country. She the significance of characters like Zoya, highlighting that they convey the message that girls can be both caregivers and strong defenders.
Produced by Aditya Chopra and directed by Maneesh Sharma, Tiger 3 is set to release on November 12. The film will also feature Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo, appearing as the spy Pathaan. While everyone is eagerly waiting for the film, it has now been reported that Tiger 3 all IMAX Screens across the country have decided to play Salman Khan starrer.
