Shah Rukh Khan is one of the biggest superstars globally. The actor has had an illustrious career and has amassed love from all around the world. Shah Rukh Khan, popularly known as ‘King Khan’, has come a long way in Bollywood. When he initially began acting, he was immensely supported by Vivek Vaswani, who not only charted his career but also provided him with a place to reside. Now, Vivek Vaswani has talked about his equation with Shah Rukh Khan in an interview. He has talked about SRK’s journey in the film industry as well.
Shah Rukh Khan started his career as an actor in the television industry. During his initial days, he was supported by many people. One of them was Vivek Vaswani. Both of them have even acted together in films like Josh, King Uncle, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Dulha Mil Gaya, and more. During an interview with Siddharth Kanan, Vaswani revealed what made Shah Rukh Khan choose films after doing serials.
He said, “Shah Rukh Khan had decided one day that he wanted to act in films. He came to Mumbai in 1991 to fulfil his mother’s dream.” He added that one day Shah Rukh came to him and said that he wanted to act in a film. At the time, Vivek Vaswani told him that he was already doing well in serials and that there was no point in switching to films.
In response to his statement, SRK said that it is his mother’s dream to see him as a superstar. He said that his mother wanted to see him on the big screen and act in films.
Vivek Vaswani revealed that they both went to Church Road that day and sat there. It was the first time he spoke, and his heart told him that his mother was dying. After that, they sat at the marine drive, and he disclosed his mother’s deteriorating health. He also added that Shah Rukh used to send expensive medicines to his friend in Delhi, who used to give them to his mother. But even those medicines couldn’t save her.
SRK was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki. As per reports, he is all set to commence the shoot of Pathaan 2 next.
