The Election Commission of India (ECI) website was crashing for many users as counting went underway for Assembly Elections 2023 in four states – Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh and Telangana. Users took to social media complaining that the ECI website was wither not opening for them or had crashed. Users also complained that the website was not showing any trends even at 9 am. Sources said that the Election Commission was checking any issues with their official website as several social media posts pointed at a delay in early trends numbers.

Counting for Assembly Elections in four states began at 8 am on Sunday, December 3. Counting for Mizoram Assembly Elections 2023 will take place on Monday. While early trends were available with several news channels, users could not see any trends on the eci website https://results.eci.gov.in/
While the exit polls have predicted a 2-2 win for the Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the four states, the trends also pointed at a similar number. According to the early trends, the BJP was leading in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan while the Congress was leading in Chhattisgarh and Telangana.
