The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration deadline for the OPENMAT-XLIX for January 2021 session till March 25. Interested candidates who missed applying earlier can complete the registration at ignou.ac.in for admission to MBA programmes.
The entrance test for admission to various MBA and specialisation postgraduate diploma programmes –OPENMAT — will be held on April 11. Those who have completed their bachelor with at least 50 per cent marks from any recognised university are eligible to apply. There is no upper age limit to apply for OPENMAT 2021.
IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 registration process:
Step 1. Once you go to the homepage of the IGNOU at ignou.ac.in, click on the OPENMAT 2021 application link.
Step 2. You will be redirected to a new page. Go for new registration and register yourself.
Step 3. Keep the registered user id and password safely and proceed to the next step.
Step 4. Key in your personal details, programme details, qualification details and correspondence details.
Step 5. Upload the documents in the specified format.
Step 6. Choose the payment mode and pay your registration fee of Rs 1000.
Step 7. Save the confirmation page for future reference
The application fee for IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 is not refundable. The admit card for IGNOU OPEN MAT 2021 will be uploaded on the website prior to a week of examination. Applicants are requested to keep visiting the website for further updates.

In OPENMAT, students will have to solve 200 questions in 180 minutes. The exam will consist of a general awareness section, English language, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning with 30, 30,30, and 70 questions each.
