Parliament Security Breach: Delhi Police Gets 15-Day Remand Of 4 Accused; 'Some Devices Recovered'
They were produced before a Delhi court on the expiry of their seven-day police custody

The Delhi Police was granted 15 days remand of four accused–Manoranjan D, Sagar Sharma, Amol Dhanraj Shinde and Neelam Devi–arrested in the Parliament security breach case. They were produced before a Delhi court on the expiry of their seven-day police custody on Thursday.

The accused were produced before Special Judge Hardeep Kaur. Police told the court that some devices had been recovered from the accused and their 15-day remand was necessary to unearth a larger conspiracy in the matter.

In a major security breach on the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament terror attack on December 13, Sharma and Manoranjan jumped into the Lok Sabha chamber from the public gallery during Zero Hour and released yellow gas from canisters, while shouting slogans before being overpowered by some MPs.

Around the same time, Shinde and Neelam also sprayed coloured gas from canisters while shouting “tanashahi nahi chalegi” outside the Parliament House premises.
