Peak Bengaluru: Man Discovers His Uber Auto Driver is Juspay's Chief Growth Officer
In another 'Peak Bengaluru' incident, a passenger was shocked after he discovered the his auto driver was the Chief Growth Officer at Juspay.

Tech city Bengaluru is in the headlines everyday for its ‘Peak Bengaluru’ moments. The city is always bustling with its thriving startup culture, traffic, hefty rents, uncanny encounters, and innovation. Now, another ‘Peak Bengaluru’ moment happened when a man had Juspay’s Chief Growth Officer as his Uber auto driver. The man took to social media platform ‘X’, formerly known as Twitter, and shared how his Uber driver worked in both UPI app Juspay and auto app Namma Yatri, which is owned by the payment app.

The man claimed that his experience was another addition to a long list of “Peak Bengaluru” moments. According to a LinkedIn search, the auto driver, identified as Shan M S also happens to be an IIM Bangalore graduate. He has been working at Juspay for the past 2 years.

His bio stated, “At Juspay, leading growth & and international biz on a mission to make payments open, fast, reliable and affordable. Building NammaYatri, an open mobility initiative to empower drivers and create sustainable urban mobility.”

He also had an excellent working experience at: HiveMinds, Cure.Fit, Bounce, and CBO.

Meanwhile, earlier, in another ‘Peak Bengaluru’ incident, an image which went viral on social media showed an auto passenger paying by scanning on the driver’s smartwatch.

The incident took place when the commuter chose the ‘Namma Yatri’ service. The passenger was shocked when he asked for the QR code to make the payment. This is when the auto driver showed his smart watch. “Today I met namma Tony Stark in @nammayatri. Asked my auto driver for the QR code. Man flipped his hand and showed me his smartwatch. Turns out he’s saved the QR code as his smartwatch screensaver. So much swag,” the user wrote as he posted an image.
