The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the schedule of the state-level EAMCET examinations on its official website, www.tsamcet.nic.in. The application process of TS EAMCET will commence from March 20 onwards. All the interested and eligible students can apply at the official site on or before May 18.
The Council will open the online window to make corrections in the application forms from May 19 to 27. The registration process with a late fee will end on June 28, as per the official notice.
As per the time-table released on March 6, the examination will commence on July 5 and will be held till July 9. The exam will be held in two sessions – forenoon and afternoon shifts.
The engineering entrance examination will begin on July 7 and will end on July 9. It will be held in the afternoon shift from 3 to 6 pm. The agriculture and medical examinations are scheduled to be held on July 5 and 6. It will be held in the morning shift from 9 am to 12 noon.
TS EAMCET gives candidates options of bilingual papers–English and Telugu or English and Urdu. TS EAMCET result is not only based on the marks obtained in the entrance examination, however, it also gives 25 per cent weightage to the Class 12 marks.
The EAMCET will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT) exam divided into two parts. Part one of the examination is for engineering courses, while part two is for agriculture and medical (AM) programmes. Each question will be for one mark. There will be no negative marking for the incorrect answers. Students will have to solve 160 questions in 180 minutes. Of the total, 55 per cent weightage will be given to first year and 45 per cent weightage to the second year intermediate syllabus of TS Board of Intermediate Education for TS EAMCET-2021.
Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) 2021 is being conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) on behalf of Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) for entry into the first year of the undergraduate professional courses including BE, BTech, BPharmacy, BSc, BVSc and AH, BFSc, Pharm-D offered for the academic year 2021-22 in the Universities and private unaided and affiliated professional colleges in Telangana.
