Assembly elections: Delhi wants honest government, says Manish Sisodia
The AAP surged ahead of the BJP and the Congress as counting of votes started for the 70-member Delhi assembly in the morning.

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia on Tuesday said Delhi wants an honest government.

"Delhi wants an honest government. We have a vision plan for Delhi. We have good leadership for Delhi," Sisodia said, who led in the vote count.

The AAP surged ahead of the BJP and the Congress as counting of votes started for the 70-member Delhi assembly in the morning.

He said the mood of the people indicates that AAP is going to do better than the exit polls and "we are confident of victory".

Exit polls have predicted a win for the AAP, which ruled Delhi for 49 days until Kejriwal resigned as chief minister in February 2014.

Over 67 per cent of the 13.3 million electorate voted Saturday.
