BJP not in a comfortable position, AAP has regained lost ground in Delhi: RSS
An RSS mouthpiece states that the decision to induct Bedi was taken after receiving adverse feedback against the BJP's Delhi unit.

New Delhi: Reflecting a clear dissent within the Bharatiya Janata Party over Kiran Bedi's induction as the party's chief ministerial candidate in Delhi, a mouthpiece of the Rashtriya Swawamsewak Sangh (RSS) has admitted there was resentment over her name.

"Despite having resentment among a section within the state unit after Bedi was named CM nominee, the campaigning has taken to top gear," the RSS mouthpiece states.

The RSS mouthpiece also claims that the BJP is not "in a comfortable ground at present" in Delhi and even accepts that the Aam Aadmi Party has managed to gain back lost ground. The mouthpiece also states that the decision to induct Bedi was taken after receiving adverse feedback against the BJP's Delhi unit.

However, it also says that the AAP will find it difficult to win as the middle class has grown disillusioned with AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal. Meanwhile, it claimed that US President Barack Obama will help the party.

There have been many reports of a dissent within the BJP in the past over Bedi. The resentment had even spilled onto the streets after the announcement of Bedi's name. Supporters of party's Delhi unit Satish Upadhyay and other ticket aspirants had staged protests in New Delhi over denial of ticket to them.

Groups had also shouted slogans against Upadhyay and party MP Ramesh Bidhuri and even heckled the former. BJP leader Dhir Singh Bidhuri and four block presidents from Okhla had even quit party over denial of ticket to him.
