Police seized sewing machines and blankets bought from government funds from ex-UP Minister Azam Khan's house.
Rampur: The Police on Friday raided the residence of former UP Minister Mohammad Azam Khan and seized sewing machines and blankets, reportedly procured from government funds.
About 500 sewing machines and blankets, bought using state funds by the previous Mulayam Singh government for distribution among the needy, were kept at Khan's residence, official sources reported.
After receiving information that Khan was distributing them to the people on Thursday, the team raided his house and recovered the goods.
